I don't want to jump the gun, but today is Saturday evening. My last cigarette was just before I met you on Thursday morning. So it's basically been three days since smoked. I have not been using nicotine patches so there is almost no nicotine in my body now.
It's been pretty easy. First day felt a bit uncomfortable, but "so what?"
You are a devil woman with your dark arts. Seriously. Very happy. Didn't hold out too much hope after the Harley Street hypnotherapist tried (and failed).
I don't want to get too excited but if these last three days have been easy then I can't imagine the rest being any harder.
So thank you,
Natt July 2011

Hi Alison,
Well, I'm 12 days post session and it's going very well. I haven't smoked since the one I had before our session started. I feel like I have a whole new attitude to smoking now; one that I have never been able to adopt before when I have tried giving up. I have no doubt that I will never smoke again.
I did find it strange at first as I was thinking about cigarettes, and almost wondering why I wasn't having one. Especially with my partner still smoking. I was surprised to feel the urges to smoke, as I assumed I wouldn't have them but it was fine. The urge came and it went almost simultaneously. My sub conscious throwing through some sense I think. But now, only 12 days and it feels like months... I can't even picture me with a cigarette, it's an odd memory I have to admit. And the smell. I thought I disliked it before but wow, it stinks. It almost burns my nostrils now when I smell it and I think how the hell did i inhale that crap into my lungs?!
And you were right, the thoughts of them decreases as time goes on. I don't think I think about them at all while I'm at work and the only time I do is at home when my partner lights up but I seem to be noticing even that less and less.
I have used the breathing technique a few times now and take myself to a quiet corner if need be; whether at home or at work! Needs must after all. And it is working. It helps to calm me.
I'm still worried about my food intake as I think it is a little more than it should be but my new increasing lung capacity is allowing me more time and effort at the gym so hopefully I'm counter acting and I have managed to lose 3lb this last week. But if I feel I'm losing the battle I will be in contact for weight management sessions and see if we can slam this down like we did with the smoking.
So thanks very much for a much needed reality check and I would highly recommend you (which I have done to friends and family).
Take care,
Kayleigh 21/5/2014
DENISE
Hi Alison,
Just thought you'd like to know that it is now over 6 months since I came to see you and had hypnotherapy for quitting the evil weed. I have not had a cigarette since that Saturday morning and all thanks to you I will sing your praises to anyone who listens !!! kind regards, Denise (March 2014)
PAUL
Hello Alison.
Well, its been over a week now since my session with you. I had my doubts, to say the least. I tried to have an open mind.
I am very pleased to say, that to date, I have not smoked. Have not felt like I wanted to smoke. In fact, the thought of smoking hasn't entered my head. I've been around smoke, around smokers. Its neither, here nor there.
So, a big thank you. However, why-ever, Hypnotherapy, so far has/is working for me.
I have raved about how this is working to friends & family, they think I'm mad, but I really do feel different about smoking.
Again, A VERY BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. If I do ever feel myself waning, I will come to see you again.
Best Regards
Paul

Dear Alison
What can I say? Three hours, two tears, many truths and a life changing experience. You have allowed me to become me again. I no longer feel trapped. What you have done for me if far wider than just the smoking thing. I feel in control for the the first time I can think of. I realise its very early days. but literally as i type this I notice that the clock strokes 24 hours since my last ciggie, and that is a bloodygood start.
Thank you for your wizardry, much respect

GEORGE
Alison,
So in the morning it will have been a week since I saw you and (for someone that used to smoke almost 20 cigarettes a day) I haven't touched one!
Thank you so much for what you have done for me, I can't tell you how much it means.
In your original paperwork you asked me 'when will I know I've cracked it' and I mentioned that if I can refrain from smoking during a social night out then that will be confirmation and I did it. I was out in Chelmsford last night and didn't even consider smoking. Not once.
I will never smoke again.
Thanks a million,
George
Ps, I've been giving your details out to other smokers... Sent from my iPad 7th June 2015
CAROLINE AND RICHARD
Hi Alison,
My husband Richard came to see you nearly 5 weeks ago to give up smoking. He just wanted me to let you know that he is still going strong.
We have all been so pleased with how he has done and so is he, he is surrounded by people at work and they have offered him cigarettes but he hasn't touched one.
He is feeling better in himself, we're so pleased that he came to see you.
Thank you for all your help.
